Men’s Shed

They say one person’s rubbish is another’s treasure and that is certainly true when you think about how we help The Men’s Sheds in East Kilbride and Govan.

We donate any wood we can no longer use which would otherwise go down the traditional recycling route.  The skilled and creative members of the men’s sheds then turn that scrap into some wonderful items which can then be used for their own cause or donated or auctioned off to help other charities.

Men’s Shed is a community organisation aimed at encouraging members to be more socially active. This is achieved through sharing of skills and knowledge with other members and stop the social isolation commonly found in older men.
