LFA Event

We recently help our Shared Spaces Signage: Interactive Design Exhibit as part of the London Festival of Architecture. We had an amazing turn-out and it was really well received by all visitors; it was great to meet some new people as well as catch up with many long-standing partners. During the event, we introduced attendees to our design capabilities and gave them the opportunity to interact with the 3D design of Network Rail’s new signage system through virtual and augmented reality technology. They saw first-hand how it can be used to enhance the passenger experience through inclusive, consistent, and flexible design. We developed the 3D signage system to compliment new Station Wayfinding Guidance produced by Network Rail, featuring Rail Alphabet 2, the new typeface designed by Margaret Calvert & Henrik Kubel. We also had physical materials and prototype models on show to create a genuine link between the virtual and physical design process and how they would look and feel in real life environments.
