Gantry M8 Crash

Our support was recently requested by Amey and Transport Scotland after a major crash on the M8 Motorway caused extensive damage to a gantry traffic sign.

The team reacted immediately and had a crew and equipment on site within a few of hours after learning that removal of the structure would be necessary.

Thankfully, no one was seriously injured and although road closures were unavoidable, disruption was kept to a minimum with the road reopening early the next day.

Merson were happy to be of service and repairs will now be carried out so that the gantry can be reinstalled as soon as possible.
