Caledonian Gladiators V Anwil Wloclawek

Caledonia Gladiators, Scotland’s only pro basketball franchise, has recently opened the doors to a new multi-million-pound stadium in East Kilbride, a stones-throw from our manufacturing facility in the town. So, we took ourselves along to watch the match between the Gladiators and Anwil Wloclawek to see what all the fuss was about.  Ironically, Merson sponsor the Polish team from Wloclawek and many of our Polish colleagues lend their support to them on a regular basis.  There was no doubt that the support for Anwil was heard loud and clear in the arena. However, there may have been some divided loyalties amongst the Merson crowd.  Final score: Caledonia Gladiators 66-63 Anwil Wloclawek.
