School Visit

We invited a group of AS & A Level Students from The Billericay School’s Year 12 and 13 to our Concept Centre in Basildon.  The design pupils met with our senior designer, Ollie Mitchell and Product Development Manager, Dan Hines to learn about the processes used by the Merson design team and how they translate to usage in the real world.

The pupils were then split into two teams to carry out an exercise to further their understanding of the design process stages and then put them into the correct order. They all did a great job!

This was followed by a tour of the site to see signs coming to life as well as enjoying trying out our VR setup – a definite winner.

Two speculative applications received from pupils after the visit were a testament to the engagement and enthusiasm the pupils showed throughout the day.
