Charity Auction

East Kilbride Men’s Shed member and Kilbride Hospice fundraiser, Patrick Henderson, recently handmade and donated a bench to Merson Group to thank us for the wood we have donated to the Men’s Shed charity over the past year.  With summer in the air, we decided to auction it to help raise funds for the hospice.  The lucky bidder was Head Of Finance, Melissa Nicol, who bid £100 and is now the proud owner of the bench.  Here she is with daughter, 5 year old Fallyn, enjoying it in her garden.  Thanks to Patrick and well-done Mel!  Another great example of the strong links we are forging with our local community.
