Iceland celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2020 and for 30 of those years, we have enjoyed an enduring relationship with the UK retailer. There have been many changes in the marketplace over the years with many highs and lows. However, the trust and confidence built up between both our parties have withstood the test of time.
Iceland is the leading specialist in the frozen food category and have built up a reputation for innovation, convenience, and value for their customers. Likewise, we are at the forefront of new technologies, always striving to be more creative and more cost effective for our clients.
Iceland have around 1000 stores in the UK alone and we have designed, manufactured, installed and maintained a wide spectrum of signage across their various brands; whether that be ‘Iceland’ core store, or the larger format stores, branded as ‘The Food Warehouse’. From newly built stores to refit and refurbishment programmes, we are always there to support their signage and branding requirements.
Iceland trust us to do what we say we can do. Across hundreds of stores, we consistently deliver high levels of service to meet expectations, work to demanding programmes (often within short turnaround times) ensuring that we adhere to strict planning requests and guidelines.
More recently we were the obvious choice to take care of the UK wide re-brand. We worked together, trialling various ‘look and feel’ options and bringing initial design concepts to life. Over the course of a year, our design director, design team and project manager collaborated with the senior management team at Iceland to establish the brand guidelines and select the most appropriate materials for a range of signs. The end goal was met in establishing the rules and guidelines for this to be rolled out across their core store estate, which was then completed successfully.
