We were chosen by main contractor, Mace, to deliver the entrance signs as part of the improvements to the check-in area of Heathrow Terminal 3.
We delivered a bespoke large-scale product to budget and within the timeframe. This project was managed to allow us to install during quieter periods over the course of a few months with minimal disruption to the passenger flow.
Being part of the framework agreement at Heathrow, we were selected to tender for the project and came out on top for price, capacity, delivery times, quality and of course, our policies and accreditations, which demonstrate that we meet the standards excepted when working in an airport environment.
The project was part of the terminal rebranding, which included other works by us, including upgrades to the lighting and signage for the lobby areas into the terminal.
Our design team engaged with renowned architects, Pascal and Watson, to ensure that the signage specifications aligned with the client’s expectations and that it was also successfully integrated with the steelwork frame of the building.
Services also included manufacturing and installing two sets of large illuminated ‘Terminal 3’ architectural letters onto a bespoke mesh framework with steel support frames.
