It’s fair to say that most people are familiar with the name ‘Deloitte’. The revered accounting firm is one of the ‘Big Four’ and the largest professional services organisation in the world. With a history spanning back to 1845, we were honoured to be appointed to take care of the signage and branding across Europe for the financial giants. We initially won a project for the headquarter building at 1 New Street Square as part of a competitive tender where we were measured on price, quality, lead times, and environmental policies. We then went on to win subsequent projects as part of a framework after delivering a successful programme.
After the tender award, our design team began an onboarding period. We engaged with the client and main contractor, Overbury, as part of a wider project to completely fit out the headquarters building in the heart of London. The large new build office comprised of 15 floors spread across 280sq ft and the design guide from Deloitte was based on five key principles of being ‘unique, connected, simple, relevant and inspiring’. Our design expertise was a key driver, turning story driven briefs from the client brand and workspace teams into deliverable projects.
We led the creative development for the customised pieces which went into this huge office space, then manufactured and installed them as well as a standard suite of solutions for personalisation, office wayfinding and messaging.
After the exciting 18-month project at 1 New Street Square, Deloitte included us as part of a framework to embark on subsequent projects across Europe. This demonstrates the confidence they had in us as their new signage and branding partner to successfully deliver projects further afield. The bespoke nature of the signage really showcased our creativity, design and manufacturing skills over a three-year period when Deloitte profited from a diverse variety of products ranging from simple architectural letters to inspiring story walls.
